Sweetwater Care in Winchester, Tennessee seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our pulmonary program serving short- and long-term residents. The RT must be licensed in Tennessee, NBRC-accredited, and capable of delivering respiratory care per physician orders while upholding safety and infection control.

You will work under supervision with the Director of Nursing and Pulmonary Coordinator to assess, treat, and document care; anticipate needs, coordinate with other staff, and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Current Tennessee CRT or RRT licensure.
• Accredited with the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Maintain active licensure and CEUs; comply with regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide respiratory care per physician orders and policy.
• Administer therapies and monitor patient response and side effects.
• Assess barriers to participation and function during treatments.
• Coordinate with nursing, PT, and infection prevention to intervene promptly.
• Follow infection control and equipment sterilization procedures.
• Document data in patient records after pulmonary program treatments.
• Operate and inspect respiratory therapy equipment for safe use.
• Maintain knowledge of oxygen therapy use and hazards.
• Contribute to individualized care plans and patient dignity.
