Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care on the night shift (7 pm–7 am) at the Saint Louis location. The role includes consulting on therapy effectiveness and serving as a resource for physicians and nursing staff.

Qualifications include graduation from a CoArc approved program, current RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential. ACLS is preferred; PALS may be required for ER staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Certification: NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• ACLS is preferred.
• PALS is required for ER coworkers.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Experience: None.
• Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
• Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
• Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.
