Job summary

Mercy Hospital in Saint Louis seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform direct patient care in all respiratory care areas, following physician orders and consulting on therapy effectiveness.

Ideal candidates hold an RRT credential, RCP licensure, and may have ACLS; PALS is required for ER team. Salary reflects night shift duties and Mercy benefits. Opportunity to join a supportive respiratory care team.

Sign-On-Bonus incentive included up to $10,000

Shift

7 pm- 7 am

Eligible for shift differential

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Experience: None.
• Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
• Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
• Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.
