Job summary

Mercy Hospital in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver direct patient care across respiratory therapies under physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as a resource for nursing staff.

The role requires a CoARC-approved respiratory care program, an active RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential; ACLS preferred and PALS required for ER staff. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduates of a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and holds an RCP license.
• Experience: No required prior experience.
• Certifications: NBRC RRT credential; PALS for ER coworkers.
• Other: Physical demands include lifting and mobility tasks.

• Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.

Overview

7 pm- 7 am

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Experience: None.
• Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
• Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
• Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.
