Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide direct patient care across all respiratory modalities per physician orders. You will consult with physicians about therapy effectiveness and support nursing staff as an advanced respiratory care resource.

Shifts run 7 pm–7 am with eligible shift differential and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000. Missouri location at Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• NBRC RRT credential; PALS required for ER staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Experience: None.
• Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
• Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
• Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.
