Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an OT to provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral, in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Qualified candidates will be NBCOT certified upon hire (renewal optional), hold an accredited OT degree (BSOT or MSOT), and an active state license with CPR certification.

One year of experience is preferred, though new grads are welcome to apply; responsibilities include planning

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational treatment plans for patients.
• Establish, assess, and modify goals that are measurable and realistic.
• Oversee care provided by OTAs and Rehab Aides.
• Chart appropriately and timely; communicate with team.
• Maintain patient rights and safety, and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
