Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab care to patients via physician referrals in accordance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards. The role requires active NBCOT certification, state licensure, and a Bachelor's or Master’s OT degree with CPR updated at hire.

New grads welcome. Responsibilities include following treatment plans, coordinating with OTAs and rehab staff, documenting care, and maintaining high professional standards

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire (renewal optional).
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT).
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable state in good standing.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaisons with patients, families, and support departments to plan for patient needs.
• Must demonstrate good body mechanics at all times.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Implement and interpret department programs, goals, and procedures.
• Maintain professional relationships with associates and vendors.
• Follow established policies including harassment and compliance procedures.
• Demonstrate integrity and professionalism per Life Care Code of Conduct.
