Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab care to patients following physician referrals. You will work within Life Care standards and regulatory guidelines to support ongoing skilled therapy needs.

The role involves developing and implementing individualized OT plans, tracking progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a post-acute setting. New grads welcome; NBCOT and state licensure required.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification required at hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT).
• Active state license in good standing throughout employment.
• New grads welcome; one year experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Follow OT treatment plans and improve ADLs.
• Establish and adjust functional goals for patients.
• Oversee and evaluate care by OTAs and aides.
• Maintain timely charting and documentation.
• Use therapy software and interdisciplinary teamwork.
