Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a PRN Occupational Therapist to deliver direct rehab services in SNF settings upon physician referral. You will assess, plan, and implement OT interventions, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to promote functional recovery and quality of life.

The role requires NBCOT certification upon hire, an active OT license, and CPR. Prior OT experience is preferred; new grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT/MSOT).
• Active state OT license in good standing.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• CPR certification required on hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaise with patients, families, and support departments to plan care.
• Follow and adjust occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Oversee and evaluate care provided by OTAs and aides.
• Chart accurately and timely; use therapy software when needed.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and teamwork in an interdisciplinary setting.
• Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality at all times.
