Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab care to residents under physician referral in a skilled nursing setting. You will assess and treat patients according to established plans and Life Care standards.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certified upon hire; renewal optional
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT)
• Currently licensed/registered in applicable State; active license required
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate
• Liaises with patients, families, support departments, etc., to adequately plan for patient needs
• Follow occupational treatment plans for patients (ADLs)
• Chart progress in therapy software
• Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
