Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Florida seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab care to patients under physician referral in accordance with our standards.

The ideal candidate will hold NBCOT certification, be licensed in the state, and have a BSOT or MSOT. CPR is required on hire and kept current; new grads are welcome to apply.

Experience is preferred but training is available; you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan effective patient care.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire and state licensure in good standing.
• Graduate of accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT).
• CPR certification upon hire and maintained.
• New grads welcome; 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational treatment plans for patients (ADLs).
• Establish, assess, and modify measurable goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care by OTAs and Rehab Aides.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and positive attitude.
• Communicate on an interdisciplinary team.
• Read, write, and understand English.
