Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehabilitation services to patients via physician referrals in accordance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards.

The role includes planning and implementing treatment plans, establishing measurable goals, supervising assistants, charting accurately, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate post-acute care. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire, renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT).
• Active state license/registration in good standing.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Follow established treatment plans for patients (ADLs and related activities).
• Establish and modify measurable goals based on patient progress.
• Oversee and evaluate care by OTAs, aides, and students.
• Chart patient progress accurately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
• Maintain safety and professionalism in all activities.
• Communicate and collaborate on an interdisciplinary team.
