Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral in skilled nursing facilities.

Ideal candidates are NBCOT certified, licensed in the state, with CPR certification, and 1 year of experience (new grads welcome). Each facility emphasizes interdisciplinary care and patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT).
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable state; active license required.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; remains current.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational therapy treatment plans for patients.
• Establish and adjust measurable, functional goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care provided by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students.
• Maintain timely charting and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure patient rights, safety, and sanitation compliance.
