Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab care per physician referral, focusing on activities of daily living and functional goals.

New grads are welcome; NBCOT certification upon hire and active state licensure are required, along with CPR. Strong computer skills and teamwork are important for planning and charting patient care across departments.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification required at hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT).
• Active state OT license in good standing throughout employment.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification required at hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaisons with patients, families, and departments to plan for patient needs.
• Maintains professional relationships with associates and vendors.
• Follows OT treatment plans and establishes measurable goals.
• Oversees and evaluates care by OTAs and Rehab Aides.
