Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab in occupational therapy for patients referred by physicians within Skilled Nursing Facilities. You will assess, plan, and intervene to improve daily living skills in a patient-centered team setting.

Required: NBCOT certification, OT degree (BSOT/MSOT), active state license, and CPR certification; new grads welcome. This PRN, on-site position offers growth opportunities and benefits through Life Care.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certified upon hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT).
• Active OT license in the applicable state; maintain good standing.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; remain current.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational treatment plans for ADLs.
• Establish and modify functional goals with patients.
• Oversee and evaluate care provided by OTAs and aides.
• Chart appropriately and timely; use therapy software.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary care and maintain professional relations.
