Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide direct rehab services in occupational therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT within skilled nursing facilities. New grads are welcome, NBCOT certification is required upon hire, and CPR must be current.

You will participate in a patient-centered, collaborative care team and help patients improve functional life skills through evidence-based OT practices at a PRN schedule with wage range

Qualifications

NBCOT certification required upon hire.
Graduate of an accredited OT program (ASOT).
Currently licensed/registered in the applicable state with an active license.
One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
CPR certification required upon hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

Follow occupational therapy treatment plans under supervision of an OT.
Maintain charting in a timely, accurate manner.
Use therapy software appropriately and accurately.
Demonstrate professional behavior and teamwork with colleagues.
Demonstrate proper body mechanics and safety.
Communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
