Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in the United States is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab services in a SNF setting under physician referrals. This PRN role supports long-term care and sub-acute rehabilitation with an interdisciplinary team to improve patients’ functional outcomes.

The ideal candidate is NBCOT certified, licensed in the appropriate state, with 1 year of experience preferred and CPR certification current.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT).
• Active state license in good standing, maintained during employment.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Follow OT treatment plans for activities of daily living.
• Establish, assess, and modify measurable goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Use therapy software; provide excellent customer service.
• Assist in patient evacuation when needed.
• Maintain dependable attendance.
• Communicate on an interdisciplinary team.
• Read, write, and understand English.
