Job summary

Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX seeks a Registered Nurse for the Mother Baby specialty on a full-time night shift. The role leads coordination of patient care plans, monitors patient conditions, and ensures timely execution of physician and nursing orders.

You will work as a primary coordinator across disciplines, supporting discharge planning and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Texas required before hire.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification preferred.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • Certified BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certified Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Certified Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
