Job summary

Ascension's Seton Medical Center Austin in Austin, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for the NICU on the night shift. You will deliver direct patient care, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and document in the EHR. The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and NICU experience; certification in STABLE and Neonatal Resuscitation preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure (or required professional licensure at time of hire)
• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire
• STABLE certification preferred
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification preferred

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Level 3 or 4 NICU
