Job summary

Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Specialty Float, Day Shift, Full-time. This role includes a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.

The successful candidate will provide skilled nursing care, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure safe patient discharges in a fast-paced environment. Minimum licensure requirements include RN and BLS within 30 days of hire.

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year acute care RN experience in ICU or ED preferred.

• Lead the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care, ensuring every action aligns with the highest safety standards and organizational excellence.
• Coordinate a multidisciplinary team of specialists to ensure patient care is seamless, holistic, and focused on the best possible clinical outcomes.
• Monitor and interpret patient conditions in real-time, acting as the vital link between the patient and the medical team through proactive communication and precise documentation.
• Advocate for the patientâs journey by initiating and managing comprehensive discharge plans, ensuring a safe and successful transition from hospital to home.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart. Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
