Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical care on a per-shift basis, coordinating patient care with a multidisciplinary team. You will assess, plan, implement care, and supervise staff to uphold high-quality, safe nursing practice while managing resources for assigned patients.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, active RN licensure, BLS (all positions), and ACLS, CPI, PALS, and NRP where applicable. A BSN/MSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• RN with current applicable state licensure/permit.
• BLS Certification required upon hire for all nursing positions.
• ACLS required within 3 months of hire for Emergency Dept & Medical Response Team RNs, ICU RNs, Med/Surg RNs, and more.
• CPI required within 3 months of hire for Emergency Dept. RNs and Bartlett Float Pool RNs.
• PALS required within 3 months of hire for Emergency Dept. RNs and Float Pool RNs.
• NRP required within 3 months of hire for L&D RNs, Mother/Baby RNs, and NICU RNs.
• Preferred: BSN or MSN in nursing education

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care for assigned patients using a multi-disciplinary approach.
• Develops plan of care for newly admitted patients and updates as needed.
• Delivers designated nursing interventions per the medical plan of care.
• Performs procedures in the specialty service area.
• Documents nursing care accurately in patient records.
• Performs related duties as required.
