Job summary

Qualifications include RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 3 months, CPI, PALS, and NRP where applicable. A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in nursing is preferred, with education to support professional growth.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; RN licensure with applicable state license.
• Licensure/Certification: RN with current licensure; BLS certification required; ACLS required within 3 months for select departments; CPI required within 3 months; PALS required within 3 months for ED and Float Pool; NRP required within 3 months for L&D, Mother/Baby and NICU.
• Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelor’s or Master’s).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care for assigned patients using a multi-disciplinary approach.
• Develops plan of care for newly admitted patients and updates as conditions change.
• Delivers nursing interventions aligned with the medical plan of care.
• Performs procedures in the specialty service area.
• Documents nursing care accurately in patient records.
• Performs related duties as required.
