Job summary

CoxHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in Ozark, Missouri seeks a registered nurse (RN) new graduate for a full-time day shift (7:00am-7:30pm). The role features a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a thorough orientation to support a smooth transition into our inpatient rehabilitation environment focused on brain/spinal injuries and related care.

Applicants must have an accredited nursing program graduate status, an active Missouri RN license, and BLS at hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited program for registered nursing.
• Valid State RN License required.
• BLS required at hire.
• Must have scheduling flexibility to complete the program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Initiate ongoing systematic assessment of patients' physical, emotional, social, educational and functional needs.
• Develop nursing care plans including nursing diagnoses, orders, approaches and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to rehab goals.
• Ensure medical records are complete, accurate and timely.

In collaboration with the physician and your preceptor, you will ensure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.

• Initiating an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational and functional needs of the patients/families.
• Interpreting assessment data and information to develop a nursing care plan which contains problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short/long term goals and discharge planning.
• Participating as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
• Assuring that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate and timely.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program for registered nursing.
• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS required at hire
• Must have flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the program.
