Job summary

CoxHealth Rehabilitation Hospital In Partnership with Select Medical in Ozark, Missouri, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for new graduates. The role is full-time, night shift (7:00pm–7:30am) with a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

You will work with an inpatient rehabilitation team to assess and plan patient care after graduation and licensure. Applicants may start while awaiting licensure but must obtain an RN license by start date.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program and eligible for state RN licensure.
• BLS required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physician and preceptor to implement assessment and care plan.
• Conduct ongoing systematic assessment of patients' physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs.
• Develop nursing care plans with goals, diagnoses, orders, and discharge planning.
• Participate in rehabilitation goals with interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and timely.

In collaboration with the physician and your preceptor, you will ensure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.

• Initiating an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational and functional needs of the patients/families.
• Interpreting assessment data and information to develop a nursing care plan which contains problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short/long term goals and discharge planning.
• Participating as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
• Assuring that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate and timely.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program for registered nursing.
• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS required at hire
• Must have flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the program.
