CoxHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in Partnership with Select Medical in Ozark, Missouri is hiring a Physical Therapist for a full-time role at our new inpatient rehabilitation hospital. The position offers mentorship for new graduates and a $15,000 sign-on bonus as part of our comprehensive onboarding.

You will supervise PTAs and students, perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and engage in discharge planning while contributing to high-quality rehabilitation services for brain

Qualifications

• Current PT licensure in Missouri is required.
• Certified BLS is required or obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and set goals.
• Develop and modify treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Supervise PT Assistants and PT/PTA students as assigned.
• Provide education to patients and families and participate in discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Performing initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
• Setting goals and developing treatment plans.
• Working cooperatively to identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
• Participating in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, as well as supervising PT and PTA students.
• Conducting individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions, as needed.
• Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• State Licensure: Hold a current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Certified BLS: Possess Certified BLS or obtain it within 90 days of employment.
