Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department on the night shift. This full-time position offers a $15,000 bonus with a two-year commitment and requires an active KY RN license, BCLS, and a nursing degree (Associate required, Bachelor preferred).

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor's preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Active Kentucky license required; PSOR transition if relocating.

Responsibilities

• Patient care in the Emergency Department across diverse populations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain infection control standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Comply with all licensing, certification and hospital policies.

How You'll Contribute

• Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
• Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
• Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.

Education

What we are looking for:

• Associate's degree in nursing required, bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

License/Certifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Active Kentucky license (single state or compact) required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
