Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department in Somerset, KY. The role includes a $20,000 bonus with a two-year commitment, night shift, and full-time hours, starting at 6:30/7:00.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN license in state of practice.
  • Active Kentucky license (single state or compact) required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
  • BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Patient populations served include Neonate through Older Adult.
  • Protected health information access includes demographic, clinical, insurance, financial, and complete medical records.
  • Exposure: bloodborne pathogens present for all employees.
  • Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and handling repetitive hand/arm movements.

How you'll contribute
  • Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.

  • Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.

  • Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.

What we are looking for:
Education:
  • Associate's degree in nursing required, bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
