Ebenezer Lake City Care Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Transitional Care Unit in Lake City, MN. The role involves meeting residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs while adhering to guidelines and facility policies.

Typical shifts include casual/on-call, day shifts with a minimum of three shifts per month (including two weekends and one holiday). Requires MN RN license and BLS certification, with 0–1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in Minnesota.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification or Red Cross CPR.
• 0-1 years of nursing experience.
• Nursing diploma/degree with appropriate licensure and training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure consistency with each resident's care plan.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders.
• Document incidents, changes, and care provided.
• Assess and revise care plans as needed.
• Provide reports on plan of care and resident goals.

Job Overview

TheRegistered Nurse (RN)provides for and assists in meeting the TCU (transitional care unit) adult patients' physical, emotional and psycho-social needs while adhering to facility, state and federal guidelines for Mayo health services skilled nursing facility - Lake City Care Center in Lake City, MN.

Nursing schedule includes;

• Casual / on call
• Day shift
• Must work a minimum of three shifts per month, which includes two weekend shifts per month and one holiday per year

Lake City Care Center Careers (ebenezercares.org)

• Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual plan of care
• Administers medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
• Provides data relevant to the development of the plan of care
• RN - Assesses plan of care, resident goals and revises, modify plan of care as necessary
• Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided

Required:

• Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree - Registered Nurse
• Current MN RN license
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
  • BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice
• 0-1 years of experience

Preferred:

• 0-3 years of experience
• TCU LPN/RN experience
