Job summary

Ebenezer's Lake City Care Center in Lake City, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the Transitional Care Unit and meet residents' physical, emotional and psycho-social needs in alignment with facility guidelines.

The role offers casual/on-call day shifts, with a minimum of three shifts per month, including two weekend shifts and one holiday, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current MN RN license is required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers is required; must be enrolled or certified within three weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor personal care to ensure consistency with each resident's plan of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies.
• Provide data pertinent to care plans and updates.
• Assess plan of care, resident goals, and revise the plan as needed.
• Provide reports and documentation on incidents and changes in status.

Job Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) provides for and assists in meeting the TCU (transitional care unit) adult patients’ physical, emotional and psycho-social needs while adhering to facility, state and federal guidelines for Mayo health services skilled nursing facility - Lake City Care Center in Lake City, MN.

Nursing schedule includes:

• Casual / on call
• Day shift
• Must work a minimum of three shifts per month, which includes two weekend shifts per month and one holiday per year

Lake City Care Center Careers (ebenezercares.org)

• Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual plan of care
• Administers medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
• Provides data relevant to the development of the plan of care
• RN - Assesses plan of care, resident goals and revises, modify plan of care as necessary
• Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided

Required

• Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree - Registered Nurse
• Current MN RN license
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
  • BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice
• 0-1 years of experience

Preferred

• 0-3 years of experience
• TCU LPN/RN experience
