Job summary

Ebenezer is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to ensure the safety and health needs of adult long-term care and transitional care unit patients in Minneapolis, MN. You will work with a team of CNAs, therapy, and other disciplines to support residents.

The position includes evenings, 64 hours every two weeks, and every other weekend/holiday rotation. Responsibilities include monitoring care plans, coordinating medications, assessing goals, and documenting care and changes.

Qualifications

• Active MN RN license required or by start date.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Experience with electronic health records preferred.
• Comfortable with evening shift and hospital/long-term care settings.

Responsibilities

Supported by a team of nursing assistants, housekeeping, activities, culinary, social work and more. Nursing schedule includes;

Responsibilities

• Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual Care Plan
• Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
• RN - Assesses care plans, resident goals and revises, modify as needed
• Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided

Required

enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be

• Current MN RN license or by start date
• BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently

obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice

• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

Preferred

• Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
• Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
• Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
