Job summary

Centra Behavioral Health Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, invites a dedicated RN to join our new behavioral health facility in Lynchburg. You will provide compassionate care, contribute to treatment plans, and work within a multidisciplinary team to support patients on a daily basis.

The role offers day shifts, full-time employment, and a comprehensive benefits package as the hospital opens a brand-new 72-bed facility in 2026.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredit nursing school with valid RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop individualized care plans, and document care accurately.
• Monitor changes in condition, respond quickly, and communicate with the care team.
• Administer medications safely and follow hospital policies and nursing standards.
• Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care with empathy, dignity, and respect.
• Support shift leadership, team collaboration, and a therapeutic patient environment.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Education: Graduate of an accredit nursing school with valid RN licensure.
• Experience: One year or more of behavioral health experience highly preferred.
