Job summary

Centra Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Registered Nurse to join the inpatient rehab team in Lynchburg, VA. You will provide patient-centered care, support rehabilitation goals, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include a Virginia RN license (or compact), CPR/BCLS; ACLS and CRRN are preferred. This PRN role offers exposure to a brand-new facility and opportunities for ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
• Active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license.
• CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
• CRRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered care that supports rehabilitation goals.
• Assess patient needs, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Educate patients and families throughout care journey and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and coordinate care plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and quality assessments.
• Participate in team conferences and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Foster a safe, respectful environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to excellent patient outcomes.

As a Registered Nurse on our Inpatient Rehabilitation team, you'll play a vital role in helping patients regain independence, rebuild confidence, and achieve their highest level of function. What We're Looking For

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
• Active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
• CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
