Job summary

Centra Behavioral Health Hospital in Lynchburg is seeking a skilled RN House Supervisor to lead nursing teams and ensure safe, high-quality patient care across our new behavioral health facility.

You’ll oversee staffing, coordinate clinical operations during shifts, mentor staff, and promote regulatory compliance while upholding compassionate care in a 72-bed community setting. This role requires strong leadership, experience in behavioral health, and a valid RN license.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Active RN license required per state regulations.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience required.
• At least one year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience required.
• One year of nursing supervisory experience preferred.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire and before patient contact.
• De-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire and before orientation completion.
