Job summary

Centra Rehabilitation Hospital, a brand-new 50-bed inpatient facility in Lynchburg, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Inpatient Rehabilitation team. You will deliver patient-centered care, support rehabilitation goals, and help patients regain independence in a fresh, advanced setting.

Prerequisites include BSN/ASN or Nursing Diploma, Virginia RN license (compact ok), CPR/BCLS; ACLS and CRRN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
• Active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact required; licensure updated before employment if relocating.
• CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• CRRN Preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered care that supports rehabilitation and recovery goals.
• Assess patient needs, implement appropriate interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Educate patients and families throughout care journey and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and coordinate care plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and quality assessments.
• Participate in team conferences and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Foster a safe, respectful environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and commitment to excellent patient outcomes.

Pay Range: $32.00-$47.55 per hour

What We're Looking For

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
• Active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
• CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
• CRRN Preferred
