Job summary

SSM Health Rehabilitation and Select Specialty Hospitals in Missouri are seeking Registered Nurses for full-time and PRN roles. You will admit and transfer patients, perform initial and ongoing assessments, document in EPIC, and collaborate with a Nursing Assistant to manage a clinically appropriate caseload.

A valid RN license and BLS at hire are required; BSN or enrollment in a BSN program is preferred, with clinical experience favored.

Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse RN License required.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• BSN or enrollment in a BSN program is preferred.
• Clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a Nursing Assistant to manage a clinically appropriate case load.
• Receive patient admissions and/or transfers.
• Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Document accurately and timely using EPIC.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.

SSM Health Rehabilitation and Select Specialty Hospitals are hiring Full‑time and PRN Registered Nurses (RNs) across several locations in Missouri. Sign‑On Bonus is available at select sites.

• SSM – Bridgeton | Bridgetown, MO
• SSM – Lake St. Louis | Lake St. Louis, MO (inside St. Joseph Hospital)
• SSH – Richmond Heights | St. Louis, MO (inside SSM Health St. Mary Hospital)
• Select Specialty Hospital – Town & Country | St. Charles, MO
• Select Specialty Hospital – St. Louis | St. Louis, MO

Employment Details

Job Types: Full‑time, PRN, Per diem.

Physical Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Center.

Standard Shift: Day shift, Night shift; Weekly Schedule: 4×12.

Supplemental Pay: Signing Bonus.

Location Requirement: Must relocate to St. Louis, MO before starting work.
