Woodland Grove Health and Rehab in Jacksonville, FL is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join our caring team in providing high-quality patient care.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time roles and a $2,500 sign-on bonus for part-time roles, along with a comprehensive benefits program including health insurance, PTO, a 401K plan, and continuing education credits.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current FL state license.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day.
• Able to bend and/or stoop for more than one (1) hour at a time.

Responsabilités

• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications and record treatments; report adverse reactions.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor and adjust equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action for adverse symptoms.
• Provide bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Document care information accurately and timely; complete forms.
• Other duties as assigned.

Summary of the Registered Nurse:

Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practice and regulations, and as directed by the Director of Nursing.

Job Requirements of Registered Nurse:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:

• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare and administer (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatology.
• Provide bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, starts IVs.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format, and on the appropriate forms.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
