Aston Group in DeLand, Florida is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team, supervising staff and overseeing daily care across shifts.

The role requires leadership, adherence to standards, and clear communication; a BSN is preferred, and a Florida RN license is required, with a sign-on bonus and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• Current RN license in the state of employment
• Peripheral IV certification
• Two years of clinical nursing experience
• One year of management experience (preferred)
• One year of experience in geriatrics or subacute care
• CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; additional languages helpful

Responsibilities

• Monitor the daily delivery of nursing care and evaluate staff performance in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Plan and conduct regular shift staff meetings to identify and resolve concerns and improve services.
• Identify problems or potential issues in resident care and implement corrective action promptly.
• Provide written and verbal reports or recommendations to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Assist in developing methods to coordinate nursing services with other resident services to support continuity of care.
