Job summary

Aston Group in Florida is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the RN will supervise nursing staff and oversee daily activities during assigned shifts (3p-11p and 11p-7a) to ensure high-quality resident care.

This role requires a BSN preferred, current Florida RN license, CPR/BLS, and at least two years of nursing experience (geriatrics/subacute a plus); management experience welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment (Florida).
• Peripheral IV certification.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience.
• One year of management experience (preferred).
• One year of experience in geriatrics or subacute care.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; additional languages helpful.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily delivery of nursing care and evaluate staff performance.
• Plan and conduct regular shift staff meetings to identify and resolve concerns.
• Identify problems in resident care and implement corrective actions.
• Provide written and verbal reports or recommendations to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to support continuity of care.
