Job summary

Regional West Health Services in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Recovery Room to deliver high-quality nursing care using critical thinking and evidence-based standards. You will assess patients, apply interventions, and monitor outcomes while adapting the care plan in collaboration with the team.

Requirements include graduating from an accredited nursing program, an active Nebraska RN license (within 60 days of hire), BLS now, and ACLS/PALS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Nebraska RN license; must have NE license within 60 days of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers required upon hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, apply clinical interventions, evaluate outcomes, and update the plan of care.
• Adapt positively to fluctuating workload to maximize patient care and unit effectiveness.
• Share on-call/availability commitments and resolve staffing conflicts.
• Deliver quality nursing care according to nursing best practice standards.

As an RWHS Registered Nurse, you will:

• Appropriately assess patients, apply clinical interventions, evaluate outcomes, and implement change to the individual plan of care.
• Adapt positively to fluctuating workload to maximize patient care and unit effectiveness.
• Remain flexible in staffing patterns, share equitably in meeting on-call /availability assignments, and actively seek resolutions of staffing conflicts.

You may be a good fit if you have:

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• A compact or State of Nebraska Registered Nurse License; must have NE license within 60 days of hire
• American Heart Association’s BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required upon hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire or at earliest available course
