Job summary

Regional West Medical Services is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Surgery unit in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. You will deliver high-quality nursing care in a recovery setting, using critical thinking to implement the plan of care and ensure patient safety.

The role requires Nebraska RN licensure, BLS at hire, BSN preferred, and ACLS/PALS within 6 months. RWHS offers relocation and sign-on bonuses and loan forgiveness programs.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in Nebraska within 60 days of hire.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

As an RWHS Registered Nurse, you will:

• Appropriately assess patients, apply clinical interventions, evaluate outcomes, and implement change to the individual plan of care.
• Adapt positively to fluctuating workload to maximize patient care and unit effectiveness.
• Remain flexible in staffing patterns, share equitably in meeting on-call /availability assignments, and actively seek resolutions of staffing conflicts.

You may be a good fit if you have:

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• A compact or State of Nebraska Registered Nurse License; must have NE license within 60 days of hire
• American Heart Association’s BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required upon hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire or at earliest available course
