Job summary

Regional West Health Services in Scottsbluff, NE is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Critical Care unit. The role emphasizes high‑quality nursing care, critical thinking, and adherence to best practice standards in a dynamic ICU environment.

You will assess patients, implement interventions, and continually evaluate outcomes to adjust the care plan. Flexibility in staffing and on-call responsibilities is required to meet unit needs.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• Nebraska RN license (compact/license) with NE license within 60 days of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, apply clinical interventions, evaluate outcomes, and adjust the care plan.
• Adapt to fluctuating workload to maximize patient care and unit effectiveness.
• Share on-call/availability duties and help resolve staffing conflicts.

As an RWHS Registered Nurse, you will:

• Appropriately assess patients, apply clinical interventions, evaluate outcomes, and implement change to the individual plan of care.
• Adapt positively to fluctuating workload to maximize patient care and unit effectiveness.
• Remain flexible in staffing patterns, share equitably in meeting on-call /availability assignments, and actively seek resolutions of staffing conflicts.

You may be a good fit if you have:

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• A compact or State of Nebraska Registered Nurse License; must have NE license within 60 days of hire
• American Heart Association’s BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required upon hire.
