Job summary

Endoscopy Center of Southern California in Santa Monica is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for PreOp and PostOp care. The RN provides continuous, quality nursing care, assists physicians in procedure rooms, and ensures patient safety from anesthesia through discharge.

Starting pay range is $45.00 - $65.00 per hour, with 20-29 hours per week. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN school of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS certification per AHA.
• 2+ years in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care; continually evaluate patient condition.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with sedation and sterile techniques.
• Deliver post-anesthesia care: assessment, planning, and discharge preparation.

Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

Starting Pay Range:

$45.00 - $65.00/hour depending on experience

Part time hours required 20 - 29 hours per week
