Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. (USPI) seeks a focused RN for Pre-Op/PACU in Webster Outpatient Surgery. This position emphasizes excellent patient service, multi-tasking, flexible assignments, and adherence to infection control.

Weekdays only, no holidays or weekend shifts, with some later evenings. The RN will deliver perioperative care, participate in a multidisciplinary team, and uphold institutional policies while supporting patient-family centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current CA Nursing License
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Pre-Op/PACU; ambulatory setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Aseptic technique principles and implementation
• Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions
• Excellent teaching, communication, and organizational skills
• Demonstrate professional ethics and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Provide quality perioperative nursing care using the nursing process and plan of care
• Support multidisciplinary team in an outpatient surgical setting

PreOp/PACU RN FT Webster Outpatient Surgery

Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.

Hourly Range: $50 - $72 / hour

Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.

The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Required Skills

Education, Training, And Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
