Job summary

Columbia River Surgery Center in Portland, OR is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse PreOp PostOp to join a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. The role provides continuity and quality nursing care, assists physicians in procedure rooms, and supports anesthesia care and discharge planning.

Schedule is Monday-Friday with no on-call, nights, weekends, or holidays. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, paid holidays, and more as described.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in Oregon.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS accredited by AHA.
• Experience in PreOp, PostOp, or Critical Care.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients.

Columbia River Surgery Center is a fast-paced, multi-specialty, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

What You Will Do (Job Summary)

The Registered Nurse PreOp PostOp provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours
