Job summary

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing, with basic computer skills.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with current Connecticut RN license.
• CPR certification required upon hire, per qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform population-specific assessments and update care plans with the surgical team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to implement individualized surgical patient care.
• Adhere to five medication rights and ensure safe administration for patients.
• Maintain aseptic technique and accurate counts during surgical procedures.
• Document nursing processes timely and communicate patient status to the team.
