Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking an experienced registered nurse for surgical and labor/delivery support. You will perform comprehensive assessments, collaborate with the surgical team to develop individualized care plans, and ensure medication safety and accurate documentation.

Must hold CT RN license and CPR certification. We value professional growth and provide a supportive environment with a focus on patient-centered care and teamwork within a Hartford HealthCare network

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have current Registered Nurse license in Connecticut.
• CPR certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform population-specific assessments and re-assess patient condition.
• Collaborate with surgical team to plan and evaluate care for surgical patients.
• Follow five medication rights and ensure safe medication administration.
• Document nursing process and patient responses accurately and timely.
• Adapt to priority changes and maintain professional growth and mentorship.
