Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, a Hartford HealthCare facility in Manchester, CT, is hiring a Registered Nurse. You will provide direct and indirect patient-centered care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans and ensure safety.

Using the nursing process, you will support perioperative and obstetric services, maintain documentation, and participate in room preparation and sterile technique as required.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with current CT RN license and CPR certification.
• Experience in surgical or labor and delivery, including assisting with C-sections, is required.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with the surgical team to implement individualized plans.
• Follow medication safety practices and document care accurately.
• Ensure patient safety and timely reporting of changes in condition.
• Maintain aseptic technique and communicate effectively with the team.
• Prepare rooms and participate in surgical scrub as needed.
