Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and CT RN license.
• CPR certification required upon hire.
• Experience in surgical or labor & delivery, especially assisting with C-sections.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and re-assessments of patient condition.
• Collaborate with surgical team to define, implement and evaluate care plans.
• Follow medication rights and ensure safe administration for surgical patients.
• Document nursing processes and responses to care timely and accurately.
• Communicate patient status effectively to team and surgeon; ensure patient safety.
