Job summary

Ascension in Austin, TX seeks an experienced RN for the Pediatric ICU, night shift, full-time, at Dell Children’s Medical Center - North. You will collaborate across disciplines to implement care plans, monitor patient status, and execute physician/nursing orders to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care.

You will coordinate discharge planning with the team, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to care protocols.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• - Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• - Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Preferred Credential(s): Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• - Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
