Job summary

MetroHealth Parma Health Center is seeking a registered nurse for its Acute Care Adult Medical/Post-Surgical Unit (Parma Inpatient). You will perform IV insertions, blood draws, post-surgical care, and telemetry monitoring while supporting patient care teams.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS certification, and 1 year of RN experience for PRN; rotating weekends and holidays with shifts 7a-7p and 7p-7a.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN license in Ohio.
• Current AHA BLS for healthcare providers certification.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.
• Certifications required upon hire.

Bi-weekly Hours: 72.00

Shift: 7a-7p/7p-7a; Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays

Up to $10,000 sign on bonus for RNs with qualifying experience

Primary Patient Population:

• Medical

• Trauma- Level 3 Trauma Center

Primary skills utilized/learned:

• IV insertions, blood draws, post-surgical care

Personnel RN will work with:

• LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy

Number of beds on unit:

• 15 beds plus 1 Trauma bed as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).


• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio


• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.


• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience


• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire
